The Canon VIXIA HF-G40
This compact video camcorder is ideal for recording any daily activity. The quality of the image is spectacular, capturing true 1920 x 1080 video using a full HD CMOS image sensor, which features extra sensitivity and lifelike video even in low light. The camera uses a Genuine Canon 20x High Definition Optical Zoom lens and a DIGIC DV 4 Image Processor that speeds up operation and enables clear and stable images even using it handheld. The camera features a host of manual controls in two modes: wide DR Gamma and Highlight Priority, which enhances colour and sharpness consistent with what is seen by the naked eye. The HF-G40 can also capture fast motion of up to 1200x the original speednew, highly sensitive HD CMOS Pro Image Sensor with improved low-light performance. The SuperRange Optical Image Stabiliser is also quite incredible. Video is captured on an SDHC card and records 1080 60p MP4 and AVCHD formats.
The controls for this camera are very intuitive with a touch-panel LCD monitor. With Touch AE, you can simply touch the screen to make dark areas in the picture appear brighter.
