Remote Surveys
One of the most important aspects of pre-production is the Remote Survey, also known as a Site Survey and even a Recce. The survey is a pre-production exploration of the location where the production is to take place. The location can be anywhere from a conference room or office to a hotel lobby or convention hall. The survey also helps you anticipate production problems that might occur such as sound issues.
